What time is check-in and check-out at Pad Hostel?+

Check-in at Pad Hostel Sydney starts at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Can I check in after 6pm?+

Yes! We have a late check in process if you’re getting to Sydney after our staffed hours, but please ensure you have notified us before you arrive and checked in online. *Hint* the online check in link is emailed to you prior to arrival. 

Can I store my luggage at Pad Hostel before / after check in?+

Yes! Between 9am and 6pm, we offer free luggage storage so you can explore Sydney without your bags.

Is breakfast included at Pad Hostel?+

Every morning, we offer free breakfast for all guests. Plus, our fully-equipped shared kitchen means you can cook your own meals too and save money while travelling.

Does Pad Hostel offer free Wi-Fi?+

Yes! Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout Pad Hostel, including in all dorms, private rooms, and common areas - perfect for planning your next adventure (or calling mum).

Why is there an age limit for staying at Pad Hostel?+

Pad Hostel is all about bringing together travellers aged 18 to 35 who are exploring the world, working abroad, or living the backpacker life.
To keep the vibe fun, social, and like-minded, we can only accept guests within this age range.

How far is Pad Hostel from Central Station?+

Central Station - Sydney’s main transport hub - is just a 15-minute walk from Pad Hostel.
From Central, you can catch trains to the airport, the Blue Mountains, and destinations all over New South Wales.

If you're carrying heavy bags, buses and light rail services (or a quick uber!) can get you even closer.

Which bus routes are near Pad Hostel?+

Pad Hostel is a short walk from Flinders Street and Oxford Street, two major bus corridors in Sydney.
From here, you’ll find direct buses to:

  • Bondi Beach (Routes 333, 380)
  • Coogee Beach (Routes 373, 374)
  • Sydney CBD and Circular Quay (Various frequent services)
  • Newtown and the Inner West (Routes 352, 370)

Buses run late into the night, making it easy to enjoy Sydney's nightlife and still get home safely.
